Since I have a busy schedule it is best to set a time for us to meet-up and visit with the Bouvs. I restrict visitors when we have pups at home under 5 weeks of age.

Bouviers can be excellent family dogs, especially if raised with children from a young age. They are known for their playful and gentle nature, and can be very affectionate with their families. However, they can be a bit rough around the edges, so it's important to pay attention especially to young dogs.

Bouviers are strong-willed and independent, but also eager to please and trainable. They can be stubborn, so consistent training is crucial. They also have a protective nature. 

Bouviers are higher-energy dogs who need exercise, both physical and mental. Daily walks and playtime are essential, and they can also thrive in environments that offer more challenging activities like dog sports or hiking. 

Like all purebred dogs, Bouviers can be predisposed to certain health problems, including hip dysplasia, eye issues, and bloat. Regular veterinary care and preventative screenings are very important. 

Bouviers typically live for 10 to 12 years. 

While no dog is truly hypoallergenic, Bouviers are considered to have low dander and don't shed excessively, making them a potential option for some people with allergies.
